Faeries
As I said above, the Faeries have hardly changed, still using their mastery of Mischief and Dreams to make trouble for the other races. They use somewhat broader magic now, and they work in larger groups, but it all leads to the same goal. That goal has finally been revealed as Oona, their Queen - she uses the combined might of all the dreams stolen to make herself the strongest force on the plane.
While the Faeries' sinister purpose has been revealed, another race whose outside appearane would be more on home on Lorwyn have appeared, the Ouphes. A smaller race, roughly the same size as a kithkin, they have a similar attitude as the goblins from Lorwyn, unable to control their impulses. However, they have the same innate toughness as many other Shadowmoor natives, allowing them to survive the dangers.
