The Geography of Tyranix

Once a lush and vibrant world, Tyranix is now a dead world, with the few surviving people living in the cities of The Order.

Prachtstadt

The center of The Order's power, this is the homeland of the Rhox and the Kithkin. Containing the Citadel, where the highest authority in the land dwells, Prachtstadt is the safest city in the world, and the rebellion still doesn't dare to strike here. The only known remaining wellspring of mana, it is the healthiest and most stable of all the cities, enriched with the power of white mana.

Caliastor

Home city of the Vedalken and Aven, this was once known as the city of spires. The majestic towers were awe inspiring, reaching hundreds of feet into the air. Now the few remaining towers look more like the bones of some long dead giant, and the fallen towers have been left where they fell. The same fatalism that has seized the Vedalken has infiltrated their city, closing most of the academies and leaving it a shell of its former glory.

Fire's Folly

Built in the crater of the volcano where the Flamekin made their final stand, Fire's Folly uses the very buildings that the Flamekin lived in as its core. While molten rock once flowed down some streets, it is now all cold, hard stone, though the city has a somewhat rougher look than the rest of The Order. Home to the highest percentage of Viashino and Goblins of any city, Fire's Folly has become a war zone, with battle breaking out between the forces of the rebellion and The Order almost on a daily basis.

Serin

Built on the grave of the Life-Tree, The Order believes this city houses the last bits of green mana on the plane. With strictly controlled orchards and zoos, this is little more than a large garden where scholars go to see how weak green magic is.

Other Cities

There are a handful of other cities on Tyranix. These include: Neserti, formerly the Necropolis of the vampires; Sicrati, the port city that continues to send out ships, looking for fertile lands; and Laruta, with its abnormal use of artifice in daily life. There are also several other unremarkable cities on Tyranix.

Travel

With the Wastes that cover most of the world being so dangerous, the engineers of The Order have designed covered causeways that link all the remaining cities together. It is generally considered suicide to travel outside of these well established roads, so they have been left mostly untouched by the rebellion.
