Faeries
The Fae seem to thrive off Mischief, pulling pranks on any creatures they find. They change the Flamekin's fire into flower petals. They will use their faerie rings to transport others to the middle of nowhere, miles from where they were moments ago. One of their more useful abilities is to capture the attention of another creature, enslaving it to their will. However, their tricks can become frighteningly sadistic at times. Some faeries find the last moments of a creature to be the most beautiful sight in the world.
All of these tricks are just a distraction from their true specialty, the manipulation of Dreams. They possess the ability to lull their targets to sleep. Once asleep, the target's dreams are ripe for the picking. While it is unclear what the Faeries use the harvested dreams for, there are a number of nasty side effects that hinder a creature whose dreams have been stolen.
Has a Faerie's Mischief caused your Dreams to be stolen? Let me know in the comments, then come back later today when I take a look at the Faeries' opposites, the passionate Flamekin.
