The History of Tyranix

What follows is a complete history of The Order. You will note that nothing before the First King arrived is detailed, as The Order has destroyed all records of that time. The years are counted from what is considered to be the beginning of the Age of Order (A.O.) Before that is considered the Age of Chaos (A.C.) which is counted backwards. Facts that are unknown in-universe will be in parentheses.

Pre-Order: (A lush plane, Tyranix was known for remarkable diversity.)

5 A.C. The First King arrives on Tyranix.

0 A.O. The Rhox and the Kithkin pledge themselves to his service. The Age of Order begins.

10 A.O. The Great Crusade begins. The first battle is against a Flamekin town near Prachtstadt.

12 A.O. The First King reaches Caliastor and convinces the Aven and the Vedalken to join the Great Crusade.

17 A.O. The Fiery Siege begins. The Vedalken begin researching the great enchantments needed to end the Crusade.

19 A.O. The vampires betray the First King. Within a year Neserti is besieged.

20 A.O. The Vedalken commit the First Great Sin. The flow of red mana stops, and the Fiery Siege ends.

21 A.O. The First King founds the city of Fire's Folly on the site of the Flamekin's death.

22 A.O. The Second Great Sin. Most of the vampires are executed.

23 A.O. The first sighting of The Waste.

24 A.O The First King decides that the elves and snakefolk are untrustworthy and declares war.

24-32 A.O. A bitter guerilla war is fought in the forests of Tyranix as the armies of the Great Crusade search for the Life-Tree.

33 A.O. The Life-Tree is found using the scrying magic of the Aven.

34 A.O. The Third Great Sin. (The elves divert the green mana away from the Life-Tree and into the Waste, where it lies dormant)

40 A.O. The final strongholds of resistance are defeated and the First King declares the Great Crusade over.

43 A.O. Leery of the Vedalken's power, the First King forces them to perform the Fourth Great Sin.

64 A.O The First King leaves Tyranix. (He flees before the Enemy)

100 A.O. The first Archons are summoned.

200 A.O. The prophet Savox leads the Rhox against the Aven. Fighting lasts for three years.

400 A.O. (The first tree sprouts in the deepest part of the Waste)

450 A.O. The causeways are created. All travel outside cities is restricted.

500-900 A.O. Numerous minor revolts are started and put down.

850 A.O. (The Leshy first appear in the Wilds)

978 A.O. (The Enemy returns and begins organizing the rebellion)

980 A.O. Fighting breaks out in Fire's Folly.

982 A.O. Contact is lost with the remote city of Casnir. (It is the first city taken by the Leshy)

983 A.O. Present Day.
