Footsoldiers of the Rebellion

The Order has trampled the rights of many beings on Tyranix, and the time has come for them to rise up and strike back at their oppressors.

Hit the jump to read about the beings that fight on the front lines for the rebellion.

(If you ignore the rules and flavor text, this could very easily be a goblin from Tyranix)

With very little in the way of self control and unable to organize effectively, goblins have always been the most violently oppressed race on Tyranix. They have been given the most menial and degrading jobs in existence, and have been forced to live in walled communities called warrens separate from the other intelligent beings. All this has led to a fierce sense of community that is absent among the goblins on other planes. There is very little infighting within the warrens, and any fighting that does break out is guaranteed to be nonfatal.

The warrens have become the centers of the rebellion, with hidden backrooms and extensive underground bases being constructed. And while the leaders of The Order know that the warrens house the most dangerous of the rebels, they have found it difficult to raid them. They are unable to simply attack fully because goblins do so many important jobs, and they are unable to do any effective raiding - any time the soldiers enter the warrens, all evidence of the rebels has mysteriously vanished. This is typical of the goblins' involvement in the rebellion. While they will sometimes fight, their talents run more towards sabotage and making sure the other rebels escape safely.

(Change the name to Viashino Waste-Stalker, and it fits in Tyranix)

The current rebellion is not the first time people have fought against The Order. There has been unrest throughout the entire history of the plane, and the Viashino have always been at the center of it. The ultimate survivors, they have always resisted the oppression of The Order. It is because of this that they show some amount of disdain for the other races that have joined the rebellion.

Viashino tales claim that they always lived on the very edges of civilization, sticking to mythical places called "deserts" which were covered in sand and were as hot as a forge at all times. While most people dismiss such tales as impossible, none deny that the Viashino are among the few that are able to survive outside the cities for any length of time. While even the Viashino are unable to coax any life out of the dead land, they know how to find relatively safe paths through it, and they have found or created secret ways in and out of the cities to facilitate their travel.

The Viashino use these secret paths for the rebellion, striking without warning and disappearing without a trace. They are masters of earth magic, and are among the most skilled fighters on the plane. This makes them stalwart fighters and amazing raiders.
