Enkavma

Not all who followed Aspida wanted order, and not all who followed Thirio desired freedom. Some wanted to burn the world to the ground.

Aspida’s second in command, Enkavma served him faithfully through the Unification War, and if he was a little overzealous, none doubted his devotion to the cause. This all changed on the day Aspida ascended. Most of the soldiers on either side had grown tired of war, and most of the Aspidans simply wanted to tend to the land they had taken, which had suffered greatly from the years of war. This infuriated Enkavma. The savages could not be allowed to win the war.

It is unclear if something changed in him that day, or if his true nature had simply been hidden all those years, but Enkavma gathered all those Aspidan soldiers who loved war above all else, and led them on a rampage through the lands of Iroas, showing no mercy to any in their path. It was only much later, when he returned to the site of Aspida and Thirio’s ascension that he was stopped. A combined Aspidan and Thirian army, outnumbering his force 100 to 1, stood in his path. Most of his soldiers, cowards at heart, fled the battle rather than face death, but Enkavma led the few remaining into battle, slaying hundreds of enemies before succumbing. On the moment of his death, a great earthquake shook the world, and he vanished into the earth.

It was only years later that it was discovered that he had ascended, as his last surviving followers unlocked the power that he had left in rubies. Today, the only people who openly follow him are marauders, living on the fringes of society, but there are rumors of cults that exist throughout the civilized world.
