So, what plane has angels, demons and dragons that she could summon? I think Alara would be a nice option. It has some of the most iconic angels and dragons of recent times, and she looks like she could be a Nayan. Now, she needs someone to be the target of her revenge.
Yes, Nin is a vedalken, and vedalken on Alara are usually infused with etherium. However, one who is truly driven to understand pain and how to inflict it must know how it feels. Therefore, a vedalken obsessed with torture would forsake her etherium so she could understand the art of inflicting pain better. She learned much of her craft from demons and necromancers, and now is employed by a shady Bantian lord, who has begun to learn of the underhanded ways of Alara.
