Enkavman Cults

And we're back to Iroas! Maybe just for today, maybe next time also? It's a mystery!

Bit of shopkeeping: I'm changing my schedule... again. I realize this may disappoint the 2 or 3 people who read this blog daily, but I'm changing to three times a week; Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I'm working on an RPG and, more importantly, I'm trying to become employed (I don't get paid to do this. Surprise!)

Enkavman Cults

There are essentially three kinds of people who identify as Enkavman in modern times, and they all view Enkavma as an example in a different way.

Dorean: The most numerous Enkavmans, these are also what most people picture when they think of Enkavmans. They believe that Enkavma felt that you shouldn't feel bound by the laws of others and should be free to do whatever you want. Most of the Dorean live on the edges of civilization, stealing what they need to survive from the weak.

Ethros: The most secretive of the Enkavmans, they believe that Enkavma saw that the end of the Unification War would lead to a peace that would, over time, weaken the Iroan people. This would lead to their destruction at the hands of the savres or the psaria, and he loved them too much to allow that. This is why he went to war, seemingly without provocation. The Ethroi look at the world today and see that he was correct, and that Iroas is not strong enough to face the myriad foes that face it. Thus they work in secret to strengthen the people they love so much, acting as the adversary that will strengthen the Iroans for the dangers ahead.

Thanatos: The world is doomed; the Thanatos only want to hasten that death. A death cult that follows Enkavma's example as a great destroyer, they truly believe that the Iroans are not worthy to exist any longer, seeing sin wherever they look. Thus they take it upon themselves to commit the greatest sin and destroy all of Iroas. Thankfully they are few, but their numbers grow as the Maelstrom and the Akyros become common knowledge.
