The Schools of Magic - Red, Part 2: New Phyrexia

Red is the color most at odds with the core philosophy of Phyrexia. While Red celebrates freedom and self-expression, Phyrexia enforces unity and conformity at all costs. It was perhaps inevitable that Red mana would resist Phyrexia's influence, resulting in the least amount of change from Red's core philosophy.

Click here to follow along, and hit the jump for a trip to the Furnace Layer of Phyrexia.

Red

Elemental: This is almost the same school as mainstream Red magic. It should be noted that metal is considered one of the basic elements on Phyrexia.
Emotion: This is the same school that is in mainstream Red magic, though it focuses more on the darker emotions.
Industry: And here's the difference. Phyrexia is too orderly to allow for an entire school dedicated to chaos, even among Red. Instead, they have the Industry school, which focuses on artifacts and mana.

There are a number of Mirran spells here, so it should be noted that they use the traditional three schools.

Act of Aggression: You make a creature angry, causing it to lash out at someone else. Emotion.
Artillerize: We are all simply cogs in the machine, and any of us can be used to fuel Elemental attacks.
Bludgeon Brawl: Don't have a weapon? Just grab whatever's laying around! This is Mirran Emotion magic, working all those effected into a fury where they grab anything handy to use as a weapon.
Chancellor of the Forge: This creates a number of new creatures, meaning this is Industrial magic.
Fallen Ferromancer: The world is made of metal, so a mage who manipulates it is using Elemental magic.
Flameborn Viron: It is born from fire, making it Elemental.
Furnace Scamp: Nice pun in the flavor text, this is an Elemental creature.
Geosurge: A Mirran spell, this draws power from the land, making it Elemental.
Gut Shot: Direct damage is usually Elemental, but there is nothing in the flavor of this particular spell to indicate any elemental connection. The flavor seems to be stabbing someone in the back, but the art makes it seem very personal. Because of that, I'm placing this as Emotion magic.
Invader Parasite: This creature first removes an opponent's land, then punishes them for playing any new copies of it. This is clearly Elemental magic.
Moltensteel Dragon: This guy belongs on a Metal album. Anyway, he is a good example of Industrial magic. An artifact creature, he is made out of molten metal and his firebreathing ability is probably represented as heating up its body to extreme levels.
Ogre Menial: On the other hand, this creature's firebreathing is clearly spewing out some sort of fiery smoke, marking it as a member of the Elemental school.
Priest of Urabrask: I believe I've said it before, but Phyrexians simply do not understand religion in any meaningful way. With that in mind, I would label this as Industrial magic.
Rage Extractor: This is one of the more complicated spells, and it is my belief that this has elements of all three schools in it. The Industrial influence is clear, as it is an artifact. The Emotion component gathers the power from rage from other spells that are cast, converting it into a blistering beam of Elemental energy.
Razor Swine: I'll put this under Emotion, because it looks rather angry to me and it doesn't fit into Elemental or Industry.
Ruthless Invasion: This frightens your enemy so much that they can't fight you, meaning this is Emotion magic.
Scrapyard Salvo: While this is almost an Elemental spell, it deals with artifacts, which means it's Industrial!
Slag Fiend: Another spell that looks Elemental at first, but is in fact Industrial.
Slash Panther: Another Industrial spell, the Phyrexians seem to have created this just because they can.
Tormentor Exarch: It encourages your creatures will frightening your enemy's creatures, meaning this is an Emotion spell.
Urabrask the Hidden: The Red Praetor, he uses Emotion magic.
Victorious Destruction: Destruction which has the intent of demoralizing your enemy, making it Emotion magic.
Volt Charge: Zap! Elemental magic!
Vulshok Refugee: This creature is immune to fire, which is an application of Elemental magic.
Whipflare: A pulse of fire, this is clearly Elemental magic.
