Plane Creation Contest - Prompt 3

And now we'll be caught up!

For this prompt, we were told to create a civilization that relies on on one of the following spell types: Artifact, Enchantment, Instant or Sorcery. Instead of creating a new civilization, I decided to incorporate one of those into The Order, as there isn't really room for more than one civilization on Tyranix... Or so it would seem on the surface...

While The Order is immensely powerful, it has a surprisingly small amount of artifice. While artifact creatures would help supply manpower, there is a deeply held belief that no artifact can make decisions as well as a natural creature can. However, it is difficult to maintain magic for long periods of time, so The Order has taken to using large numbers of task mages to keep control. They are able to respond relatively quickly to any disturbance, and have a surprising amount of versatity.

On the other hand, the rebellion that has formed recently has started using Auras extensively. They will frequently put a large number of Auras on a single warrior before sending him out to wreak havoc. While it is always possible that they will deal tremendous damage, that is not their true purchase. While Order soldiers and mages struggle to defeat these champions, other rebels use the distractions to sneak into Order facilities and strike at weak points.

If it isn't apparent, The Order is mostly based around instants and sorceries (they are essentially the same thing from a flavor perspective) while the rebels use enchantments, with a focus on stacking enchantments on a single creature.
